Why winter storage matters

Road salt and freeze–thaw cycles are hard on exhaust hardware. A system that sits dirty through a Québec winter can come out with surface staining and seized fasteners. Twenty minutes of prep in November saves hours in April.

Three steps before the car goes into storage

Wash and fully dry the system — trapped moisture is the main corrosion driver.
